ENGINEERING GEOLOGY AND HYDROGEOLOGY

Geological studies are done in the scope of knowing the geological environment, by establishing the lithological succession of the land, the mineralogical and petrographic composition of soil and of rock components, the defining of structural and tectonic elements, the assessment of the field stability,the research of the building material resources, the assessment of environmental pollution a.s.o.

Geological investigations:

  • Mapping the field: observations and measurements of outcrops, inventory and characterization of geodynamic elements (landslides, erosions a.s.o.), monitoring the presence of above and underground waters;

  • Prospecting works of the land by direct methods: unveiling, ditches, wells, boreholes;

  • Prospecting works of the land by indirect methods: geophysical investigations;

  • The evaluation of minerals and-petrographic structure of soil and rocks from lithological succession;

  • Hydrogeological assessment of the site (infiltration, sources, chemistry, a.s.o.);

  • Works to establish the sources of construction materials.

Geological documentations:

  • Geological reports, maps and geological sections;

  • Geological studies for all phases of design;

  • Studies regarding the stability of the ground;

  • Monitoring Studies of geological elements
